INT. HELIX MANSION - EVENING
Wognian is talking to his guests, they're all smiling and
laughing, seemingly engaged in a pleasant conversation. The
laughter dies down as they watch Swarg approach Wognian.
Wognian is the only one left smiling even as he looks at
Swarg.
WOGNIAN
Evening, my old friend. I've been
wondering when you'd show up, you
seem to be busy these days. How are
you faring so far? You do not look
amused. Something's not to your
liking?
SWARG
I got a word you wished to speak to
me, Wognian.
WOGNIAN
I always do, yes. Come.
Wognian and Swarg walk together into the balcony with a view
onto the gardens.
WOGNIAN
How long has it been?
SWARG
The war? Feels like yesterday.
WOGNIAN
A past life for me. I'm glad it's
behind us now. I wish I could
forget. But whenever I look at Nila
the memories rush back in.
SWARG
She's one of the good things that
came of it.
WOGNIAN
The only good thing, I'd say.
SWARG
You can't keep her locked up
forever. She's no longer a child.
WOGNIAN
You still want to marry her, don't
you?
SWARG
I do.
WOGNIAN
My decision remains unchanged.
