THE LAST BLUE GATE

SYNOPSIS Act 1 Part 1 In 2030, a technological error precipitates war and the Earth’s destruction. A mismatched group travel to TOI 700D – a planet that supports human life. Act 2 (part1) Here, nothing is quite as it seems. People’s characters are revealed as they confront an alternative civilization from another parallel dimension. Mid point The humans unite to survive and defeat this aggressive entity, to regain their reality. Act 2- part2 The new reality is both unexpected and complex. Faced with harnessing this new nature, everything has to be reinvented. Going back to basics, survival soon becomes more important than technology, which fades into the past. Men and women willingly return to a more simple way of life. Now, laws are based on the very foundations of humanity (mutual aid and trust) and tribal cohesion is paramount. In this primitive existence, previous moral and racist barriers disappear – creating a new, ideal society - free from judgment. With a developing comprehension for the new nature around them, these humans live happily, build a home together and rediscover a blissful form of second childhood. United, they then create a new generation to inhabit the planet. Act3 In the midst of this happiness, they come face to face with a ubiquitous spatial phenomenon (present in the first act). Some are fearful at is it threatens their happiness and existence. Others embrace the phenomenon as the beginning of a wonderful journey. It may be followed by a sequel
