We are looking for a screenwriter to collaborate on the sitcom , "welders" which will be broadcast on the yt platform. - we are shooting at the beginning of february -The first season will have 6 episodes just like the office US. (Planned 8 seasons. 22 episodes each season is planned from the 2nd). - plot/series description: A twisted and life-affirming comedy series about an ambitious privateer named Darek who dreams of a bigger company, not helped by his quirky employees. - characters: Characters: Darek Kwiecinski- the head of DarAdi company. he manages a branch office in Wągrowiec located 1h from Poznań. he is an ambitious and educated man. his flaws are excessive nerves and to relax he drinks (alcohol). despite the drawbacks he does everything to make the company survive and sometimes he can be nice. Sara- young and educated after graduation Darek's accountant, former fiancée of his brother Adrian with whom he has a son. she is a very nice and chatty person who enjoys gossiping with employees and talking down to others in front of the boss. she is a single mother who barely makes ends meet. Mr. Wladyslaw- an experienced and funniest employee in the company. he enjoys pranks, inappropriate and bawdy jokes and talking nonsense. he is a widower with two adult children. despite his partial loneliness, he is a happy man full of humor. he is friends with another employee Tom Wójcicki. he is also lazy and likes to take advantage of new employee Michal for work. Tomasz Wójcicki- is similar in behavior to Vladislav but is more reasonable than him. he is Vladislav's best friend and they are soul mates. Tomasz promotes a healthy lifestyle at the company and rides a bicycle to work despite having made right-of-way. he is separated from his wife and lives in the basement where he has a private gym. he likes to brag about his travels and knowledge of the world. he has a child with an Asian girl he met during one of his trips (season 2) Roman- mean and making life miserable for employees, quality controller who wants to get promoted and for this purpose sucks up to the boss and picks on anything, e.g. that a weld is crooked while it is straight. he also deals with Bhp in the company. Michal- a newly hired employee after a construction technical school, he is hired in another industry and knows nothing, he does not have a high school diploma. He has a girlfriend in Poznan. he is humiliated and abused by the employees ie generally treated like a pleb by others except Sarah who respects him and is nice to him. he is clumsy and a loser. Marek- in season 1 to mid season 2 an episodic character. a schemer, unemployed, homeless and a thief, a buddy outside of Tomasz's work. He sleeps in Tomasz's basement and steals tools from the company and, in one episode of season 1, Michal's bicycle to sell and make money. His motto in life is not to make money but to make money. From the middle of season 2, he is hired on the left at the company at the request of Tomasz, who asked his boss if he could find something for his friend who is poor and has a poor living situation. Bartek- addicted to stimulants and gambling is an able worker. He lives in a studio apartment, is broke by his lifestyle, and is single. throughout the series the rest try to help him get out of his addictions. he is serious but nice to the employees except for Michal for whom he is a bully and a boor.
