Femis is recruiting a project manager for the External Relations Department

La Fémis is a higher education institution under the supervision of the Ministry of Culture and Communication. Located at 6 rue Francœur in the 18th arrondissement of Paris, the school's primary mission is to provide, in conjunction with professionals, initial and continuing education in the fields of in the fields of cinema and audiovisual. The School is an EPIC (public industrial and commercial establishment); the staff is governed by the Labor Code, and this legal status offers the possibility of receiving civil servants on secondment. JOB DESCRIPTION: Reporting to the Director of Development and Professional Training, and placed under the authority of the Assistant Director, in charge of external relations, the Project Manager will have three areas of work: Mission Officer's Missions: 1. On the international level Assistance to the Assistant Director in monitoring exchange agreements and relations with foreign schools ✓ Organization of the stay of La Fémis students ✓ Management of the reception of foreign students ✓ Follow-up in connection with the director of studies of the educational path of foreign students ✓ Follow-up of expenses related to exchanges and support in the preparation of grant applications ✓ Relationship with partner schools, follow-up of partnership agreements 2. On the follow-up of internships ✓ Coordination and follow-up of student internships ✓ Organization of pre- and post-internship preparation meetings in conjunction with department directors and year heads - drafting of internship specifications ✓ Establishment of internship agreements and annexed documents, retrieval and reading of internship reports and evaluation sheets ✓ Interface with host companies and internship tutors 3. Regarding external operations ✓ Participation in the organization of exceptional events in conjunction with the Assistant Director and the Communications Officer (e.g. past operations: the 30th anniversary of La Fémis, Africa 2020) ✓ Coordination and follow-up of La Fémis students' participation in external film events cinematographic events ✓ Dissemination of information to students (calls for applications, cultural information cultural information, invitations...) and alumni, in partnership with the alumni association 4. Concerning the Equal Opportunities workshop ✓ Interlocutor of the Culture & Diversity Foundation ✓ Implementation of the convention ✓ Organization and supervision of the different modules of the workshop (summer, allsaint, management assistantship - except for the competition - which remains linked to the Competition Manager): reception of trainees, elaboration of the program, recruitment of speakers, budgetary follow-up and financial statement In general, it will be his or her responsibility to assist the other departments and services of the School in all matters within his or her remit. Required Qualifications: ▪ Higher education / Master's level ▪ Previous professional experience of eight to ten years ▪ Significant experience in film production and/or project management of cultural projects (festivals, professional meetings, events) ▪ Experience and taste for teamwork in a collaborative spirit ▪ Interest in pedagogy and film ▪ Versatility (able to handle multiple files at the same time) ▪ Rigor and autonomy, availability, initiative and strength of proposal ▪ Relational skills and writing skills ▪ Complete command of English (oral and written) and ideally knowledge of another language Contractual Status: - CDI - Framework grid Position to be filled as of September 2022: - Application letter and CV to be sent to Mrs. Nathalie Coste-Cerdan, General Manager of La Fémis, by email to the following address: [email protected]
