15 years ago, I had an idea for a screenplay and started working on it. My story is about an adventure in the middle of the 18th century. After a while I was very frustrated because I didn't know what direction the story should take. I laid my project aside. Last fall I had a dream, let's also say a vision. I dreamed of the story I started writing many years ago. I awoke from my dream and wrote it down before it faded. When I awoke in the morning, I did not remember, but found my notes from the night. So I recognized the building block I was missing and knew how the story ended. Short Story In the middle of the 18th century, somewhere in the south of Germany, lives a family with their 3 sons. Life in the country is hard for them, because the family does not have much. Therefore, the older son decides to escape poverty and try his luck in the New World, the British colonies of America. Back home, people are worried, especially the family, who hasn't heard from their older son for a while. As a result, the two younger sons decide, against the will of their parents, to follow their older brother in America and look for him. Now I am looking for filmmakers, producers.....who are interested in reading my script to possibly realize it. Mfg J.M.L. Adams
